Hexagon Necklace #2
Machined with a 3 axis milling machine out of solid brass, this necklace is inspired by the shape of a honeycomb. It’s not a cast shape, it’s subtractively carved out of a .250” thick sheet of 464 Naval Brass. Honeycomb is .5 inches wide, by 1.5 inchs tall. Chain is 19 inches in length, but can be made shorter on request. After machining it’s polished with a buffing compound and lightly coated with brass lacquer so as not to tarnish or discolor skin. The chain is 14karat gold (not plated or electroplated). Barrel type clasp.
