Rocket Lamp #16
This piece was inspired by a couple of objects. Shopping one day, I came across a mirror stand that had obviously been meticulously crafted by a master machinist/fabricator. I decided to incorporate the design of the feet into something of my own. And I’ve also been fascinated by the Machine Lamps of Frank Buchwald, whose Gieger-esque lamps seem to come from an alternate planed of art deco fueled machine tool designers.
